Born in Germany, Frank Schwere studied photography first in Bielefeld and subsequently in New York at the International Centre of Photography.

Frank has exhibited his personal and commercial work internationally throughout the US, Europe and New Zealand. He has worked and lived in New York from 1997 to 2009 now resides in Auckland New Zealand.

Frank specialises in portrait and landscape photography. It is the clarity and simplicity of his imagery that has seen him shoot global advertising campaigns throughout North America, Europe, Asia, South America and Australasia; for clients such as Fuji, Henkel, IBM, Microsoft, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Siemens, Gartner, Palm, Boots, Adobe, Ace, Gartner, Cisco, Ballard & Spahr, MAN Roland, Childrens Health Fund, Avon, and Maxygen.
