Born in Germany, Frank Schwere studied photography first in Bielefeld and subsequently in New York at the International Centre of Photography. Along with his commercial work Frank has exhibited his personal work internationally. He has worked and lived in New York from 1997 to 2009 and, since then, in Auckland New Zealand.

Bridget Webber is a graduate of Auckland University (BFA) and NYU (MA). She is a recipient of Creative New Zealand Arts Council Grant. Bridget has worked and lived in New York from 1997 to 2009 and, since then, in Auckland, New Zealand.                                                              

Frank and Bridget met in New York in 1998 and started working together commercially in 2002. Schwere Webber is now a partnership which specialises in portrait and landscape photography. It is the clarity and simplicity of their imagery that has seen them shoot global advertising campaigns throughout North America, Europe, Asia, South America and Australasia; for clients such as Fuji, Henkel, IBM, Microsoft, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Siemens, Gartner, Palm, Boots, Adobe, Ace, Gartner, Cisco, Ballard & Spahr, MAN Roland, Childrens Health Fund, Avon, and Maxygen.
