Tony Drayton began his career as an assistant photographer working in a busy still life advertising studio.
Five years later, including time in Europe immersed in the photography world, he started his own business in New Zealand.

Tony started working for advertising agencies shooting campaigns for a variety of clients as diverse as cosmetics to automobiles.
During the course of the following 15 years, Tony tailored his photography to specifically shooting model oriented campaigns and he quickly rose to the top of his field.
Tonys’ passion for photographing fashion and beauty saw him based in Sydney Australia, spending much of his time traveling around the globe, shooting both editorial spreads for fashion magazines such as Harpers Bazaar & Marie Claire to name a couple, as well as advertising campaigns for numerous international brands.

Known and respected as one of the heavyweights in the fashion and beauty industry, Tonys’ multiple award winning work has seen him shoot in Malaysia, Bali, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Phuket, Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Paris and Munich.
With huge experience drawn from shooting in every imaginable situation, Tony has a reputation in the industry for calmness no matter what obstacles are put in front of him.
Basing himself in Oceania means that Tony is frequently working on assignments for Asian clients. His eye for detail and the often cinematic look to his work, sees him regularly returning to Asia for repeat clients.
